,

Marvel Studios is bringing Avengers: Endgame back to theaters in 2026. The arrival of this 2019 blockbuster comes ahead of the premiere of Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, 2026. Avengers: Endgame will return to theaters on September 25, 2026.

The film was originally released in theaters on  April 26, 2019, and had a record-breaking opening weekend before going on to earn $1.2 billion globally. Today, it stands as the second-highest-grossing film of all time domestically with $858 million and the second-highest-grossing film of all time globally with a $2.799 billion total.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME

Avengers: Endgame was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. It offered a spectacular conclusion to the first ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It picked up after the events of Avengers: Infinity War as the Avengers came together to attempt to defeat Thanos. The films that followed since 2019 have not reached the same level of excitement or box-office success as the Avengers movies. Marvel Studios undoubtedly hopes that this will give a strong boost of momentum for the release of Avengers: Doomsday.

Details about ticket sales and specific theaters have not been released for the return of this film. These will most likely come when the movie is closer to its re-release.
