On this day in 2010, the PGA Tour came to the Walt Disney World Resort for the 40th consecutive year. The Walt Disney Classic was played on Disney’s Palm and Magnolia courses in support of the Children’s Miracle Network. Robert Garrigus won this last official event of the 2010 PGA Tour season. The Tour originally came to Walt Disney World in connection with Arnold Palmer. He was the first test rider on the monorail and was so impressed that the rest was history! [15 years ago in 2025]
