There are many fantastic entertainment groups to be enjoyed at Disney parks around the world. At Disneyland, we have the fantastic Disneyland Band. Over at Walt Disney World is the Main Street Philharmonic. Jump across the Pacific Ocean, and one of the bands that can be enjoyed is the Tokyo Disneyland Band. This is what I’m thankful for today. This band is comprised of phenomenal musicians and offers a lot of fun music!
The Tokyo Disneyland Band isn’t on the app or map, but if you keep alert, you can hear them coming and be able to see them! On my last trip to Tokyo Disney Resort, I was able to catch them a couple of times. This is something I was incredibly happy about. The second time I caught them, they played King Mickey, or the classic marching band version of the Mickey Mouse Club March. This was definitely a highlight for me. I miss hearing this at Disneyland, and it is an arrangement I grew up loving (it can be heard in the video below).
The Tokyo Disneyland Band has a repertoire that includes classic Disney music to tunes from more recent Disney movies. It also plays seasonal songs at different times of the year. They also add some choreography to their performances. They are a great part of the Tokyo Disneyland experience, and I’m so thankful that I was able to find them a couple of times during this last trip. They really are great!
