The lobby at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been undergoing a substantial refurbishment. One focal point that has garnered a lot of attention is a bird-cage-looking bar in the middle of the lobby. Called The Perch, this new lobby bar recreates the look of the iconic bird cage that has been in the lobby for years. Today, Disney Eats shared that The Perch will be opening on November 10, 2025.

At this time, there hasn’t been a menu released for The Perch. It has also not been added to the Walt Disney World website yet. What is known is that The Perch will pay homage to the birdcage that used to be in the lobby. It will also continue the Victorian feel of the Grand Floridian. It looks like it will be an ornate addition to the lobby.
