On this day in 2020, ‘The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special’ premiered on Disney+. The show pays homage to (and spoofs) the original legendary 1978 ‘Star Wars Holiday Special’ as well as classic holiday films. It follows the events of the ‘Star Wars’ sequel trilogy. Rey seeks knowledge of the Force ahead of Life Day celebrations and is caught up in a time-travel adventure. She learns about holiday spirit, community, and mentorship as she tries to make it back in time for the feast. [5 years ago in 2025]
