The original voices of Hercules and Megara from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Hercules came back together aboard the Disney Destiny for Disney Hercules in the Walt Disney Theatre. Susan Egan and Tate Donovan were the original voices for Megara and Hercules in the animated Disney feature.
As the cast of the new musical Disney Hercules were preparing to raise the curtain for the new Disney Destiny’s maiden voyage, Egan and Donovan joined them on stage for a special meet-and-greet moment. Egan is also the ship’s godmother. The Disney Cruise Line shared the following video and photos of the moment.
The Disney Destiny is the newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Its maiden voyage departed on November 20, 2025. It is themed to heroes and villains, which can be found throughout the ship in multiple expected and unexpected ways.
