When World of Frozen opens at Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris on March 29, 2026, it will introduce guests to new levels of storytelling when they visit. As they walk down Adventure Way and head into this new World of Frozen, they will find themselves walking into the story that continues to be told with the Frozen franchise by Walt Disney Animation Studios. They will recognize icons that are seen in the films. They will find themselves arriving just in time for the Snowflower Festival, which brings the entire village of Arendelle to life, specially decorated for the occasion. There will be the newest iteration of Frozen Ever After, a new show on Adventure Bay, the chance to have some magical encounters with characters from the films, and of course, opportunities to shop and dine!
“World of Frozen is more than just inspired by the film; it truly brings the kingdom of Arendelle to life. Working together across disciplines, our Imagineers combined creativity and attention to detail to craft a world that captures the spirit of the story and feels real and immersive. We’re very proud to see the castle, the village, and the North Mountain become reality, and we can’t wait for our guests to step into this world and be part of the story.” said Michel den Dulk, Vice-President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director, Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.

The Icons of World of Frozen
When guests visit World of Frozen, they will see the majestic 118-foot-tall North Mountain. This will be crowned by Elsa’s Ice Palace. At the base will be found the village of Arendelle. This will include the lively town square that is framed by colorful Nordic-inspired buildings and sparkling water spots. There will be a beautiful symphonic reinterpretation of the iconic music from the films that will be heard throughout the village. Villagers will guide guests to Arendelle Bay, the Fountain of Friendship, or Arendelle Castle, which are all decorated with ice decorations. There will be subtle floral motifs and rosemaling, a traditional Norwegian decorative art, will be found adorning facades and moldings with refined craftsmanship. The landscaping, inspired by Scandinavian landscapes, will contribute to the storytelling with conifers, birches, beeches, and crocuses to recreate the atmosphere of the animated films.

Frozen Ever After
The family-friendly attraction, Frozen Ever After, will be found beneath the Clock Tower in Arendelle. This attraction takes guests through the story of the original Frozen. It includes favorite songs like Do You Want to Build a Snowman? and also Let It Go. There are also some favorite friends found on the attraction, including Anna, Elsa, Ola, Sven, and Kristoff! Guests will float through the snowy forest to the Valley of the Trolls, through Elsa’s Ice Palace, and finally arrive in Arendelle Bay for the finale that includes snowflake-shaped fireworks.
This will be the most advanced version of this attraction that first debuted at EPCOT. This will include state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics figures that promise to deliver some incredibly lifelike performances. There will also be multiple lighting and sound effects, along with new immersive projection technologies found in this attraction. These new technologies are currently being programmed by Walt Disney Imagineering to provide a visual and emotionally stunning experience for everyone.

Characters
There will be opportunities to meet Anna and Elsa during a Royal Encounter (via Virtual Queue in the Disneyland Paris app) in Arendelle Castle. Guests will pass through the famous Portrait Gallery and then join the sisters for an exclusive moment. This will include a personal interaction and photo opportunities to capture the magical moments that are being had.

There will also be a new show that will be presented multiple times a day in Arendelle Bay called A Celebration in Arendelle. This is part of the celebration of the Snowflower Festival. It will see Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the villagers coming together to take part in the celebrations aboard three majestic Viking longships! This show is billed as a participatory show where the audience will be invited to sing along to some favorite songs from the Frozen franchise, including Let It Go or Show Yourself, and Into the Unknown.
There will also be brand new music that is utilized in this show. It was created exclusively for World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the multi-award-winning songwriting duo behind the songs of the Frozen franchise, winners of the Oscar for Best Original Song for Let It Go.
This show’s three Viking longships were developed with Couach Construction Navale, a renowned French shipbuilder from the Bordeaux region. The decorations of the boat have been entrusted to artisans who have long collaborated with Disneyland Paris. For example, Kristoff’s longship was painted by artisans from Prelud, a historic supplier based near Dijon.
There will also be some other fun character encounters to be had around the village. For example, guests might happen upon Oaken, the cheerful shopkeeper and sauna owner, with his famous “Hoo-Hoo!” They also might happen upon Mossie, an adorable baby troll who is both curious and endearing.

Disney has also revealed that a next-generation robotic Olaf will also be making appearances in the Arendelle Bay show in World of Frozen. This Olaf looks more realistic than ever before, and also acts in a more realistic way than ever before. This brings Olaf to life with an unmatched level of believability that allows him to engage with guests and other characters around him. Guests will see Olaf come to life in front of them, just like they saw in the films! More information about how Olaf came to life in this robotic form can be found in the latest episode of We Call It Imagineering.
