One of the highlights for many guests who experience the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party. This energetic street party takes place in the back corner of Disney California Adventure along the parade route near Paradise Gardens. It sees the Three Caballeros joined by authentic folklórico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers, drummers, incredible 12-foot-tall mojiganga puppets of Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. This is one of the highest energy offerings at the Disneyland Resort during the holidays and truly is a party in the street.
Once again this year, the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party is being offered only on Saturdays and Sundays during the holidays. For the opening weekend, the street party was only offered on Sunday due to the rain coming down around Southern California earlier in the weekend. On Sunday, the first show was modified because of the rain that had come down earlier in the day. As the day progressed, however, the show was offered at its regularly scheduled times to the delight of the guests. Many of these guests eagerly waited for the street party throughout the day.
The Daps Magic team stopped by Disney California Adventure to catch one of the first shows on Sunday. Below is a look at the 4:45 PM showing of the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party. Check it out here:
