Disney Announces ‘The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular’ Host and Performers

On December 1, 2025, Disney will be presenting The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular on ABC at 8:00 PM EST/PST. On the following day, this holiday special will be streamed on Hulu and Disney+. The special will include performances by Gwen Stefani, Nicole Scherzinger, Trisha Yearwood, and more. Ginnifer Goodwin will provide narration for the special.

Along with the performances for The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular, there will be a special look at Avatar: Fire and Ash from the cast in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There will also be a look at Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2 with an introduction by star Ke Huy Quan from Disneyland. On top of all of that, there will be a look at the new 4D show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, with actor Nate Torrence.

The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular will be hosted by Derek Hough. This is the 10th year it will air and feature some incredible musical performances from both the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in California, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai’i.

The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular is produced by Disney executive and senior executive producer Sally Hopkins Conner, who brought on production company EverWonder Studio and executive producers Michael Antinoro, Tiffany Faigus, and Ashley Edens.
