For many Peanuts fans, watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is an annual Halloween tradition. Each year, the television is turned on to see if the Great Pumpkin will descend on the pumpkin patch as Linus waits. In recent years, the Peanuts have moved from broadcast television to the now-named Apple TV. With this move, Apple has continued to make sure that the holiday Peanuts programs are available for fans to see if, even if they don’t have a paid subscription to the streaming service.

For fans of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, this weekend is the weekend to watch the Halloween program. It will stream for free on Saturday, October 18, 2025, and Sunday, October 19, 2025. To watch Snoopy go on his adventure, Charlie Brown get a bag full of rocks, and Linus wait in the pumpkin patch during this weekend, you won’t need a subscription to Apple TV. What you might need is an Apple ID to log into the streaming service. Simply go to Apple TV on your smart television or on the web to watch the program.

While this weekend is all about the Great Pumpkin, it isn’t the only time there will be Peanuts programming available for free this year on Apple TV. Later this fall, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will be available for free for a weekend in November. This will be followed by A Charlie Brown Christmas in December.
