The Pacific Symphony is presenting Fantasia in Concert. The performance will include a live musical performance accompanying several of the segments from Fantasia and Fantasia 2000. This concert experience will be offered on October 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Pola Benke will conduct the Pacific Symphony for this performance. Tickets can be purchased here. Fantasia in Concert, featuring highlights from two of Disney’s most extraordinary and groundbreaking animated feature films, Fantasia (1940) and its sequel, Fantasia 2000, is not to be missed.

Scenes from each of the two iconic films will be projected in high definition on a large screen above the orchestra as they perform classical selections including Dukas’ Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, Stravinsky’s FirebirdSuite and Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals.  Blending animated imagery with classical music, the concert will ignite the imaginations of a new generation. Scored to some of the world’s most memorable classical compositions, Fantasiahas provided four generations of children with their first introduction to the glorious sounds of an orchestra’s strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.

Lobby Activities: Enjoy special activities for kids in the concert hall lobbies related to the theme of the concert, such as crafts, games, an instrument petting zoo, and more. Activities take place from 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. for 10 a.m. concertgoers, and from 12:15 p.m. – 1 p.m. for 11:30 a.m. concertgoers.

Pacific Symphony’s Family Musical Mornings concerts are for the whole family. All concert attendees need a ticket for entry regardless of age.
