Lorcana has revealed a new classification of cards with the Whispers in the Well set. This comes after the success of Fabled this summer. This new set will join the game this fall and introduce a brand-new classification of cards for players to experience. Disney shared the following information about this new set and classification:

What to Know About the New Whispers  

As we shared previously, glimmers are special versions of Disney characters unique to the realm of Lorcana. Whispers, a new variant of glimmer appearing for the first time in Whispers in the Well, are strange specters with a chilling twist. These figures may feel vaguely familiar but also have an air of intrigue to them – it is unclear where they come from because they are only partially formed, having been summoned from a damaged lorebook page.

It is up to players to solve the mystery of their origin, making Whispers in the Well feel like a frightfully fun set to dive into this time of year.

In order to unlock a Whisper’s full potential, players must use a new Boost mechanic to trigger powerful abilities adding another layer of strategy and a fresh element for all fans.

What’s Next for Disney Lorcana? 

For even more eerie energy, properties like Disney The Black Cauldron and the TV series Disney Gargoyles are joining the game for the first time in Whispers in the Well. To help solve the mystery at hand, fan-favorite Disney detectives from Zootopia, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, are on the case and will also be making an appearance.

The pre-release period for Whispers in the Well begins at select Disney Store locations and game stores on November 7, and will be available for purchase everywhere starting November 14.
