Mickey and Minnie Halloween Time

Halloween Time Magic Comes to Children’s Hospital of Orange County Thanks to Disneyland Resort

Some of the young patients at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County were treated to some Halloween magic thanks to the Disneyland Resort. This comes as the Disneyland Resort is in the midst of its Halloween Time celebrations. For those kids at CHOC who were unable to be at the Happiest Place on Earth, however, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were on hand to bring some seasonal magic to the campuses both in Orange and Mission Viejo.

Mickey and Minnie showed up in their Halloween outfits to bring smiles to patients and their families through inpatient room visits and other special moments that were shared throughout the day. The world’s most beloved mice spent time in their rooms and also provided some surprises that included seasonal treats.

This isn’t the only way that the Disneyland Resort continues to support CHOC and bring magic to its patients. Earlier this fall, Disney characters and Disney VoluntEARS stopped by CHOC for the Minnie Walk. This brought the magic and excitement of the CHOC Walk in the Park to the patients at CHOC who were unable to participate. The CHOC Walk in the Park has raised over $46 million for the hospital during its 33-year history. Other ways that magic is created include the interactive “Turtle Talk with Cruch” show that brings the popular Disney attraction to the hospital, the efforts of the Disney VoluntEARS, and the continued magical moments made by the Disneyland Resort as they show their dedication to bringing joy to patients and families at CHOC.

What do you think of this bit of seasonal magic for the children of CHOC? Have you participated in the CHOC Walk in the Park? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
