It’s almost time for Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Starting on November 14, 2025, and continuing through January 7, 2026, guests will get to experience the merriest season of the year at the Happiest Place on Earth! There are many things to do and enjoy during this jolly time of year. One favorite for many fans is getting to see Disney characters dressed in their best holiday outfits. Throughout the Disneyland Resort, there is no shortage of places and ways to see Disney characters. Below is an overview of where to find your favorite Disney friends during the holiday season.

Santa Claus

A Christmas tradition for many Disney guests is getting to meet Santa Claus. There are several places where this is possible. This includes:

• Redwood Creek Challenge Trail – November 14 through December 24
• Disneyland Hotel – November 27 through December 24
• Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa – November 27 through December 24
• Pixar Place Hotel – November 27 through December 24

Holiday Characters at Disney California Adventure

There are multiple opportunities to see and meet characters in Disney California Adventure during the holidays. Some of these give the opportunity to take photos with characters, and others are opportunities to take photos of characters. Below is a look at the characters who will be out for the holidays and where to find them.

The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special

Join Deadpool for story time where he shares some classic Christmas tales in his own way. Wolverine will also make occasional appearances. The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special will be found near Avengers Campus.

Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure

Disney Festival of Holidays will be returning to Disney California Adventure with characters, entertainment, food, merchandise, and more! This celebration also provides multiple opportunities to see characters dressed in their holiday best!

Mickey’s Happy Holidays

The very merry Mickey’s Happy Holidays will return to the parade corridor at Disney California Adventure. With plenty of characters, a catchy tune, and toy soldiers playing drums, this is one that guests won’t want to miss! The following characters can potentially be seen during this holiday procession:

• Mr. & Mrs. Incredible
• Frozone
• Woody
• Jessie
• Bo Peep

Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season

This street performance reminds fans that the greatest holiday gifts are the memories that are created with those we love. Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season is offered on select days during Disney Festival of Holidays. During the performance, hear (or sing along to) Surface Pressure, We Don’t Talk About Bruno, and other songs from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto.

A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!

In Carthay Circle on select evenings, Miguel joins Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland for some holiday songs and heartfelt stories. This is a beautiful performance that is worth seeing as the spirit of Pixar’s Coco comes to life in the street.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad!

One of the more popular offerings of Disney Festival of Holidays is Disney ¡Viva Navidad! This includes a performance with the Three Caballeros on Saturdays and Sundays, and Mirabel meeting with guests in Paradise Gardens gazebo on select days. Other members of her family could also be making appearances. Throughout Paradise Gardens Park, there will be live music, specialty dishes, and other character appearances inspired by Latin American traditions.

Holiday Characters at Disneyland

There are plenty of characters to be found at Disneyland in their holiday best. The first stop at Disneyland is generally on Main Street, U.S.A. This is where guests will be able to meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and the rest of their pals in their new holiday outfits. This is always a popular place to meet with characters and get photos each year. Bring patience and grace when meeting Mickey and friends there!

A Christmas Fantasy Parade

A Christmas Fantasy Parade is a Christmas classic at Disneyland. In 2025, it will celebrate its 30th anniversary. It is packed full of favorite Disney and Pixar friends. It also has Santa Claus and his reindeer. Below is a list of the characters that can be seen in this holiday classic:

• Green Army Men and Jessie
• Anna, Elsa, and Olaf

• Belle and Beast

Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends!

In its second year, Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends! gives guests the chance to meet with some favorite Disney friends, watch animated shorts, sing along to holiday songs, and more. Here are the characters that might be seen here:

• Chip ‘n’ Dale
• Goofy
• Pluto

Holiday Character Dining at Disneyland Resort Hotels

The holiday character dining experiences at the Disneyland Resort Hotels keep getting better each year. This year is definitely no exception. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland Hotel are hosting holiday buffets, with a selection of delicious, seasonal menu items. Disney characters make appearances throughout the meal, showing off festive outfits. If you want to experience one of these character dining offerings, be sure to get a reservation as quickly as possible!

Character Dining at Storytellers Cafe

There are two offerings at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa from November 17, 2025, through January 6, 2026. Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party breakfast and brunch is offered in the morning. Daisy and other Disney friends will be in festive colors and plaid fabrics. In the evening, Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast will be offered. This will include Mickey Mouse, Scrooge McDuck, and other characters with looks inspired by the classic Christmas story. Both of these buffets will be offered at Storytellers Cafe.

Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!

During the holiday season, Goofy’s Kitchen also gets into the fun and offers character dining for breakfast, brunch, and dinner. Guests will find Goofy and friends in fun, festive outfits. This is offered from November 17, 2025, through January 6, 2026.
