Destined for greatness! Disney Cruise Line officially welcomes the Disney Destiny to our legendary fleet following a special delivery ceremony. We are one step closer to sailing families on unforgettable adventures inspired by Disney heroes and villains.

For the handing over, Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Experiences, was on hand to accept the ship from Meyer Werft. He was joined by Sharon Siskie, the senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line. Captain Andy McRonald was also on hand. He will soon be taking the Disney Destiny on its first voyage across the Atlantic Ocean to the ship’s future homeport of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

After the ship makes its way across the Atlantic, it will take guests on its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025. This cruise will depart from Fort Lauderdale. The ship will visit Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Disney Castaway Cay before returning to Fort Lauderdale. It will then spend its inaugural season going on four and five-night cruises in the Bahamas and Caribbean. For more information about the ship’s itineraries, please visit DisneyCruise.com.

When guests board her, they will find themselves in the Grand Hall with a statue of the Black Panther. They may also encounter some of their favorite heroes and villains while aboard the ship. There will also be some incredible entertainment, culinary offerings and experiences, and more! This includes the debut aboard the Disney Cruise Line of the Broadway-style show Disney Hercules.
