A day after the Disneyland Resort revealed its new Disney Ambassador team, the Walt Disney World Resort did the same. During a ceremony at EPCOT, Walt Disney World Resort President Jeff Vahle announced that Kylee Withers and Phelicia Blake would be the next Disney Ambassador team for the Most Magical Place on Earth. On hand were family, friends, and Ambassador Alumni.
Before being chosen to be Disney Ambassadors, Kylee worked in Merchandise Finance, and Phelicia was a Guest Experience Manager at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. “Becoming a Walt Disney World Ambassador is a dream come true,” Kylee said. “It feels so surreal that we’re going to represent our cast with all the growth ahead at Walt Disney World, and I’m so excited for the incredible moments that are ahead of us.”

“What I’m looking forward to most as a Disney Ambassador is celebrating our 80,000 cast members here at Walt Disney World,” Phelicia said. “I love that at Disney, we create happiness for each other and our guests every day, and I can’t wait to continue doing that with Kylee these next two years.”

The role of Disney Ambassador is steeped in tradition. Terms last two years, with two new cast members selected to represent the Walt Disney World Resort at the end of each term. With Walt Disney World being the largest and most visited theme park destination in the world, and with so much growth coming, the 2026-2027 team will be a part of many milestone moments.

The Disney Ambassador program is celebrating its 60th anniversary. Walt Disney created the program in 1965 when Disneyland was turning ten years old, and he needed help sharing all the exciting things that were happening. The first Walt Disney World Ambassador was named in 1970, ahead of the resort’s opening. Six decades later, the program has grown to become a global team of Ambassadors that represent the hundreds of thousands of cast members at Disney parks, resorts, and experiences around the globe.

In the coming weeks, Kylee and Phelicia will begin training ahead of the official start of their term on January 1, 2026. They will learn from current Walt Disney World Ambassadors, Serena Arvizu and Shannon-Smith Conrad.
