As Hong Kong Disneyland celebrates its 20th anniversary, some exciting new announcements have come out. For fans of Moana, the new Wayfinders’ Table has arrived. For fans of Spider-Man, new concept art has been revealed for the new attraction based on the webslinger.
A post on social media shared new images of the attraction, both inside and out. The post said: “A new look at the Super Hero-themed extended area coming exclusively to Hong Kong Disneyland! This new area in Tomorrowland will bring to life the brilliant minds from the Avengers and their friends, including an all-new attraction, entertainment, shopping and dining.”

The first piece of concept art shows the exterior of the new attraction. This is a new Avengers Tower. Along with the Avengers logo, there is also a sign that says Research Testing Labs. This could be a hint as to the story that will be told when guests experience this attraction.

The second piece of concept art takes guests inside the attraction. Guests are in a ride vehicle that is very similar to that found on Tower of Terror or Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Around them, Spider-Man, Thor, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange appear to be attempting to protect the vehicle with the guests inside. Looking closer at the concept art and some clues might indicate a potentially intergalactic story.
This new Spider-Man attraction for Hong Kong Disneyland was announced last summer at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. At the time, the attraction was described in the following way:
To ensure a better and brighter future for all mankind and the world, the most brilliant minds from the Avengers are working together and bringing new pavilions to the Stark Expo to showcase their most recent inventions and technologies. Peter Parker (a.k.a Spider-Man), the newest Stark Industries intern, is among one of them and will also be the host to demonstrate the latest breakthrough. Undoubtedly, the presence of Spider-Man will also attract one of the most formidable villains, who wreaks havoc at the scene. Peter will need all the help he can get to protect his brand-new technology while saving guests caught in the middle of the showdown.
The attraction is part of an expanded Stark Expo at Hong Kong Disneyland. This is built around the Iron Man Experience, which opened in January 2017. There is also Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle in the area. This Marvel-themed area is located next to Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland.
