For the third year in a row, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be playing September by Earth, Wind & Fire repeatedly on September 21st. The news was announced this morning on social media by Walt Disney World Resort.
September is one of the six songs that can be experienced aboard Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. These songs are played at random, except on September 21st, when guests go on the attraction. The song begins with the line, “Do you remember…the 21st night of September?” The song has turned September 21st into an unofficial holiday for the group. Some even call it Earth, “Wind & Fire Day.”
The first year that this song was played on repeat on Cosmic Rewind was 2023. It was so popular that it was brought back last year. Now in its third year, there are the beginnings of a tradition.
