The Disneyland Hotel has gotten decked out for the autumn for the first time since its transformation. From October 1st through November 2nd, guests will be able to see these new decorations at the Disneyland Hotel. Disneyland Paris shared the following photos and details about the new decorations. For this much-loved season among Disneyland® Paris guests, teams from Walt Disney Imagineering and Hotel Product Resort have collaborated to create stunning decorations, befitting the royal elegance of Disneyland® Hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel car park, guests will be greeted by a porch adorned with garlands of red and orange leaves, along with pumpkins topped with flowers placed around the fountain.
The enchantment continues inside: these beautiful garlands frame the majestic lobby staircase and the railings of the first and second floors. These autumnal arrangements—featuring remarkably realistic maple leaves, chrysanthemums, dahlias, red berries and miniature pumpkins—bring a traditional yet elegant touch, in harmony with the splendour of the setting.
“It was essential for us to preserve the spirit of Disneyland Hotel,” points Sophie Coudré, Art Director at Walt Disney Imagineering. “That’s why we designed these garlands to enhance the décor without altering its character.”
On the guests’ path as they walk inside the lobby, two iconic Halloween pumpkins of unusual proportions have been placed at the bottom of the steps: these wooden sculptures, carved by the Disneyland Hotel carpenter, perfectly complement the season’s theme. Each contains a beautiful floral arrangement in autumnal colours, with compositions that, with a little imagination, hint at some well-known Disney Villain tales…
“Disneyland Hotel celebrates Disney’s royal stories, and we reflected this in the selection of Villains represented—all of whom reside in palaces,” explains Lauréline Ly, Graphic Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering.
