Disney Changing Prices on Streaming Services in October

In what is becoming an annual tradition, Disney is changing prices on its streaming services in October. Subscribers of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN will all see prices change next month. Some of these prices will go up. Some will go down. The price changes impact almost all of the Disney streaming options.

Disney+

  • Disney+ standalone subscribers who have ads will see their monthly price go from $9.99 to $11.99 a month starting October 21, 2025.
  • Disney+ Premium (without ads) subscribers will see their monthly price go from $15.99 to $18.99.
Hulu Logo

Hulu

  • Hulu standalone subscribers will be seeing their monthly subscriptions with ads go from $9.99 to $11.99.
  • For those who have Hulu without ads, the price will remain at $18.99 per month.
ESPN

ESPN

  • ESPN Select (former ESPN+, with a more limited lineup) subscribers will see their monthly price go from $11.99 to $12.99 per month.
  • The ESPN Unlimited all-in app was just launched and isn’t seeing a change in price yet.

Bundles

  • The Disney+ and Hulu Bundle that includes ads will see its monthly price go from $10.99 to $12.99.
  • The Disney+ and Hulu Premium Bundle (no ads) will keep the same monthly price at $19.99.
  • The Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle (with ads) will see its monthly price go from $16.99 to $19.99.
  • The Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Premium Bundle (no ads in Disney+ or Hulu, ads in ESPN Select) will go from $26.99 to $29.99 monthly.
  • The Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle (with ads) will go from $16.99 to $19.99 monthly.
  • The Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle (without ads) will go from $29.99 to $32.99 monthly.
  • The Hulu+ Live TV (with SVOD ads) that includes Disney+ and ESPN Select will go from $82.99 to $89.99 monthly.
  • The Hulu+ Live TV (no SVOD ads) that includes Disney+ Premium and ESPN Select will see its monthly price go from $95.99 to $99.99.

All of the price changes will go into effect on October 21, 2025. The changes in price come ahead of Disney’s plan to shut down Hulu as a standalone app in 2026. It will be fully merged into Disney+ when this change happens. Customers will still be able to purchase Disney+ and Hulu plans separately.

The price changes in October mark the third year that prices have increased in October. This first happened in 2023. It occurred again in 2024. What do you think of these changes?
