On this day in 1955, the Donald Duck short ‘Beezy Bear’ was released. It was the fifth appearance of Humphrey the Bear, this time at odds with Donald when he tries to steal honey from Donald’s beehives. Park ranger J. Audubon Woodlore doubts that Humphrey is causing trouble, which makes the situation worse. Fans may recognize the voice of Bill Thompson as the ranger because he also voiced Mr. Smee in ‘Peter Pan’ and the White Rabbit in ‘Alice in Wonderland!’ [70 years ago in 2025]
