2027 is the 50th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope. To celebrate this milestone, the film will be returning to theaters in April 2027. The film will be re-released on April 30, 2027.

Shawn Levy is directing this movie. Ryan Gosling and Mia Goth are starring in the film. It will be arriving in theaters on May 28, 2027.

In 2026, the first Star Wars film to be released in theaters since 2019 will be arriving with The Mandalorian and Grogu. This film will be arriving in theaters on May 22, 2026. When it arrives in theaters, an update to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will debut at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
