Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy will be closing in October to undergo a refurbishment and enhancement. The attraction, which takes people on a ride through the story of Pixar Animation Studios’ Ratatouille, will reopen in the spring of 2026. Walt Disney Imagineering and Disneyland Paris announced what some of the changes will be for this attraction ahead of its closure.
While the Walt Disney Studios (soon to be Disney Adventure World) attraction is closed, it will receive numerous technical upgrades and scenic enhancements. Disney says these are crafted to offer guests an even more immersive experience in the world of the Pixar film Ratatouille.

One of the enhancements will be found in the queue. This will be enhanced, and a new scene that depicts a Parisian artist’s studio will be included. It will be full of details and accessories that include canvases on the walls, paint splatters, and a fruit basket that could definitely catch the attention of Remy or his friends in the neighborhood.
In the attraction itself, there will be new props, enhanced projections, and larger-than-life props and set pieces. Created by Walt Disney Imagineers, these will add extra magic to key scenes and also enhance the perception that guests are being shrunk down to the size of Remy and the rest of his friends and family.

The attraction will also see another significant change. With the modernization of the technical equipment, all video projectors will be replaced with state-of-the-art models. Part of the upgrade will include changing the projectors from 3D to 2D. This will be a permanent change. The new experience will offer enhanced video media in the attraction. Disney shared that the decision to make this change came after months of testing and guest surveys.
These updates come to Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy as Disneyland Paris continues to renovate and expand both of its parks. This includes the transformation of Walt Disney Studios into Disney Adventure World. This creates more exciting opportunities for guests visiting Disneyland Paris to experience more magic and more stories.
