GUIDE: Next on Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN in September 2025

Disney continues to add more to its streaming services. As it looks to consolidate Hulu with Disney+ next year and it launches ESPN DTC later this month, the house of mouse is consolidating its offerings in fewer destinations. As time goes by, this should make it easier for viewers to find what they want to watch. For sports, head to ESPN DTC. For everything else from The Walt Disney Company, head to Disney+. There will be a Hulu square there for those who are worried about Hulu. Ahead of all of these changes, Disney has shared what will be released in September 2025 on its various streaming services. Hulu: Celebrity Weakest Link (Fox) 
The hit Emmy Award-nominated Weakest Link, hosted by Jane Lynch, returns for a new season with this all-celebrity edition, but for the first time in broadcast history, on FOX! In each themed episode, eight celebrities from the worlds of television, sports, or stand-up comedy compete to win up to one million dollars for the charity of their choosing, these celebs will answer general knowledge questions and bank money as a group across multiple rounds. At the end of each round, the contestants vote out who they perceive to be the weakest link, and the host sends them off with the infamous farewell, “You are the Weakest Link. Goodbye.” The two who make it to the final round will battle it out to determine who wins the banked money for their charity.

Hulu: Chad Powers (Hulu Original) 
When bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday’s college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers. Based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of the Eli’s Places series, the half-hour comedy from 20th Television will stream on Hulu.

Disney+: Cleopatra’s Final Secret
Lawyer-turned-archaeologist Kathleen Martinez has spent 20 years searching for Cleopatra’s lost tomb. Her excavations now lead in an unexpected new direction, a submerged site miles offshore in the Mediterranean. She has enlisted Titanic discoverer Bob Ballard, the Egyptian Navy, and a team of archaeologists and divers to help her explore this mysterious location.

Disney+ and Hulu: Dancing With the Stars (Season 34)

Hulu: Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg? (Hulu Original)
Ellen Greenberg, a 27-year-old schoolteacher, was found dead in the apartment she shared with her fiancé with 20 knife wounds and 11 bruises. To the shock of many who knew her, detectives on the scene treated her death as a suicide until her autopsy results came back with the cause of death ruled a homicide. Shortly thereafter, the manner of death was reversed again to suicide, and the city of Philadelphia shut the case without further investigation. Now, 14 years later, “Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg?” exclusively follows Ellen’s parents as they fight to reopen the investigation and learn the truth about their daughter’s untimely death.

Hulu: Doc (Season 2) (Fox) 
The second season of “Doc” follows powerhouse physician Dr. Amy Larsen (Molly Parker) as she continues to rebuild her life after a car crash erased eight years of her memory. On “The Floor,” 100 new contestants, representing all fifty states will stand their ground on a massive, interactive LED game floor featuring 100 squares, each representing a different trivia category. The first challenger, selected at random, must choose one of his or her neighboring opponents to go head-to-head in an epic quiz duel in the opponent’s category. The winner takes over the loser’s square, gaining valuable ground as they expand their territory, while the loser exits the game. The winner must then choose – do they go on the offensive to dominate more of the board? Or do they let The Floor choose a new challenger? The contestant who gains full control over “The Floor” takes home a life-changing grand prize.

Hulu: Hell’s Kitchen (Season 24) (Fox)
Gordon Ramsay returns for Season 24 of “Hell’s Kitchen,” themed “Battle of The States,” filmed once again on the east coast at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut – home to one of Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurants, where Season 23 winner Chef Kyle Timpson now serves as executive chef – Chef Ramsay requested his team to scour the country and find one worthy chef from each of the 50 states. In a series first, in the premiere episode, Ramsay will whittle down these 50 semi-finalists to the Top 18 that will advance to the iconic kitchen with the chefs carrying the torch for their state throughout the entire competition. The kitchens will continue to be broken down as men vs women, so chefs from Washington and South Carolina could be on the same team with the theme more about the individual chef and what they represent than it is about what they’ll be cooking or who they’ll be cooking with. For the first time in Hell’s Kitchen history, every chef will be from and represent a different place.

Hulu: High Potential (Season 2) (ABC)
“High Potential” follows a single mom with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective.

Hulu: Krapapolis (Fox) 
In Season Three of “Krapopolis,” Tyrannis holds the world’s first democratic elections, which is a terrible idea, while Deliria gets herself caught in a web of lies as she tries to get even with the gosspiy gods who cast her off Mt. Olympus. Shlub wants a forbidden boba and mobilizes an army to help him get it, while Tyrannis, wanting to show that he’s a man of the people, organizes the world’s first potluck supper.

Hulu: Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery (Hulu Original) 
“Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery” tells the untold story of the groundbreaking music festival featuring only women artists, started by iconic Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan and her team in the late 1990s, in opposition to systemic industry barriers that limited women from playing together on a concert bill and getting back-to-back airplay on the radio. The documentary reunites and features interviews with Sarah McLachlan and original Lilith Fair artists Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, Paula Cole, Jewel, Mýa, Natalie Merchant, Indigo Girls and Emmylou Harris and a new generation of artists who have carried the torch, including Brandi Carlile and Olivia Rodrigo, among others.

Disney+: LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past 
Sig, Jedi Bob, Yesi, Servo, and the villainous Dev return and must face off against a new enemy — the powerful and mysterious Solitus. Our heroes will make unlikely alliances as they traverse new and dangerous parts of the hilariously mixed-up galaxy in an effort to stop the growing threat Solitus poses to all they hold dear.

Disney+: Lost Treasures of Egypt (Season 6)
An immersive, action-packed series follows international teams of Egyptologists as they unearth the world’s richest seam of ancient archaeology — Lost Treasures of Egypt. Through excavations and unprecedented access to the teams on the front line of archaeology, we follow these modern-day explorers as they battle searing heat and inhospitable terrain to make the discoveries of a lifetime.

Hulu: FX’s The Lowdown
“The Lowdown” from Creator, Executive Producer, Writer and Director Sterlin Harjo (“Reservation Dogs”) and starring Executive Producer Ethan Hawke, follows the gritty exploits of citizen journalist “Lee Raybon” (Hawke), a self-proclaimed Tulsa “truthstorian” whose obsession with the truth is always getting him into trouble. 

Lee lives and works in a rare bookstore tucked in the heart of Tulsa – a local refuge and unofficial community hub. While Lee’s no idealist, he’s fiercely committed to exposing corruption and unearthing the city’s hidden rot, even when it puts him at risk. His constant sleuthing pulls him deep into Tulsa’s underbelly – and often away from his 14-year-old daughter “Francis” (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), a precocious kid who’s inherited his curiosity and longs to join him on his adventures. His ex “Samantha” (Kaniehtiio Horn) is exasperated by Lee’s endless digging, but still sees the good in him – especially when it comes to Francis, the one thing they’ve never stopped showing up for.

When the publication of Lee’s latest exposé – a deep dive into the powerful Washberg family – is immediately followed by the suspicious suicide of “Dale Washberg” (Tim Blake Nelson), the black sheep of the family, Lee knows he’s stumbled onto something big. Following a trail of breadcrumbs Dale has left behind, urging someone to dig deeper into the circumstances surrounding his death, Lee does just that. What Lee finds is that “Betty Jo” (Jeanne Tripplehorn), the grieving widow, seems to be more interested in her brother-in-law “Donald Washberg” (Kyle MacLachlan), a gubernatorial candidate, than in her dearly departed. And powerful forces want to prevent Lee from learning anything more. 

Lee has also gained the attention of a mysterious stranger who seems to appear whenever Lee least expects it: refined and suave, “Marty” (Keith David) shares Lee’s appreciation of great literary minds, and seems unusually interested in his investigation into the Washberg family.

Charles Blakey, an African American man living in Sag Harbor, is stuck in a rut, out of luck and about to lose his ancestral home when a peculiar white businessman, Anniston, with a European accent offers to rent his basement for the summer.

Hulu: Murder in a Small Town (Season 2) (Fox)
Murder in a Small Town follows Karl Alberg (Rossif Sutherland), who recently moved to the quiet coastal town of Gibsons to be the new police chief, and quickly learns that this gentle paradise has more than its share of secrets. As a world-class detective, Karl calls upon all his skills to solve murders that, even in this seemingly idyllic setting, continue to wash up on his shore. Meanwhile, his deepening relationship with the town librarian Cassandra Lee (Kristin Kreuk) is challenged as her career and community involvement take her in new and unexpected directions. In the second season, Karl’s jurisdiction expands and he will have to contend with an increased caseload and limited resources, investigating cases like a body found at a local wedding between members of two feuding families; a double kidnapping that may mask an even bigger crime; a pop star who retreated to Gibsons for a quiet vacation only to be followed by a dangerous stalker; and many more.

Hosted by Tony Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Jane Krakowski, the beloved musical game show tests contestants’ music knowledge as they battle it out in an assortment of challenging musical games for cash and prizes. Two players race against the clock to test their knowledge of songs performed by a live band with Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson as band leader.

Hulu: 99 to Beat (Season 1) (Fox) 
Hosted by Ken Jeong and Erin Andrews, in “99 to Beat,” 100 contestants go head-to-head in a range of seemingly simple and hilarious games in an arced competition game show like we’ve never seen before. 99 to Beat is the game show that anyone can win, and there’s only one thing players must do for a chance of walking away with the cash prize – Don’t. Finish. Last. As contestants battle it out against each other, each round will see the number of players whittled down until one person is left standing and they take home the top prize of $1,000,000.

Following the death of his father, energetic and free-spirited Rickey (Michael Angarano) convinces long-time friend Glenn (Michael Cera) to go on an impromptu road trip from Los Angeles to Sacramento. Frustrated by Rickey’s Peter Pan complex, Glenn is encouraged by his pregnant wife Rosie (Kristen Stewart) to go on the adventure to reconnect. In the worn yellow seats of Glenn’s old college convertible, the two men confront their anxiety-ridden lives, addressing past mistakes and questioning what their futures hold.

Hulu: Shark Tank (Season 17) (ABC)
“Shark Tank,” the critically acclaimed and multi-Emmy® Award-winning business-themed unscripted series that celebrates entrepreneurship in America, returns to ABC and Hulu this fall for its 17th season with a powerhouse lineup of business tycoons and Guest Sharks featured throughout the season. The hit reality show that has become a culturally defining series and inspires a nation to dream bigger has amassed over $11 billion in retail sales from deals offered in the Tank.

Hulu: The Simpsons (Season 37) (Fox) 
In the Season 37 premiere of “The Simpsons,” Lisa discovers Marge’s vintage clothes from the 90’s and is welcomed into the school’s elite fashion club. But to feed their hunger for retro looks, the thrifters break the law – becoming a fashionista bling ring. Season 37 also brings another chilling fright-fest in “Treehouse of Horror XXXVI,” where 1970s Springfield is menaced by a grease monster that feeds on human fat, Krusty makes a deal with the devil on his live Halloween special, and in a poseable plastic post-apocalyptic future, Bart and Lisa fight for the future of humanity. In other Season 37 stories, Homer becomes addicted to “Dad TV,” Bart and Professor Frink travel to an island of billionaire body-hackers, and a disgraced Superintendent Chalmers creates a line of skin care for men.

Hulu: Sister Midnight (2024) 
A newly arranged marriage. An oddball couple shoved together in a small Mumbai shack with paper-thin walls. They are awkward and alone-together. Unpredictable Uma does her best to cope with the heat, her total lack of domestic skills, nosy neighbours and her bumbling spouse until the nocturnal world of Mumbai and its inhabitants lead her to face her own strange behaviors.

Hulu: Special Forces (Season 4) (Fox) 
In “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” this time around, the recruits will be training in Morocco and will endure the grueling circumstances of urban warfare. New this season, some recruits will arrive in pairs consisting of spouses and family members. All recruits must learn the art of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable as they are faced with training challenges across the country’s expansive desert terrain, including a supply search in an abandoned village where they must race to extraction, a treacherous rat-run through dark and narrow tunnels, a plane shell dunk drill where pairs of recruits will be submerged under water and must escape, a death-defying urban ladder crossing between buildings 50 ft above the urban streets, and much more. In this experiment, there are no votes and no eliminations – just survival. These celebrities, who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of “no guts, no glory” – and no glam.

Hulu: Swiped
Inspired by the real-life story of the visionary founder of online dating platform Bumble, “Swiped” introduces Whitney Wolfe as she uses extraordinary grit and ingenuity to break into the male-dominated tech industry.

Disney+ and Hulu: Tempest (Hulu Original)
Featuring one of the most impressive international line-ups in a Korean drama to date, “Tempest” follows Seo Munju (Gianna Jun), a skilled former diplomat, as she tries to uncover the truth behind an attempt on a presidential candidate’s life. After discovering the candidate was accused of being a North Korean spy, Munju digs into his past, unlocking a Pandora’s box of deception, state secrets and more. Protected by Paik Sanho (Gang Dongwon), a mercenary with a suspicious history and a hidden backer, Munju repeatedly finds herself under attack as she uncovers an international conspiracy stretching all the way to the White House. But, with danger drawing ever closer, will Sanho be able to keep his principal safe and his emotions in check?

Disney+: Top Guns: The Next Generation (Season 1)
In the high-octane competitive world of the U.S. Navy’s toughest fighter pilot school, only the strong succeed. This world exclusive takes the viewer inside the final grueling six months of training and selection, where the students learn how to fly combat missions. Dreams of earning strike pilot wings collide with the harsh reality of the most rigorous tests yet. We are inside the cockpit as they tackle adrenaline-fueled, dynamic aerial tests, each designed to push the students to their limits and beyond and not all will pass the test.

Hulu: Tracker (Season 2) (CBS) 
Justin Hartley returns in “Tracker” as Colter Shaw, a trusted lone-wolf survivalist who, driven by the troubles of his past, uses his instincts to find the missing and collect rewards. Supported by lawyer Reenie Green (Fiona Rene), his business handler Velma Bruin (Abby McEnany) and tech expert Bobby Exley (Eric Graise), Colter will stop at nothing to get the job done.

Hulu: Trap (2024)
A secret serial killer must find a way to escape authorities after discovering a pop concert he’s attending with his daughter hides an elaborate sting to capture him.

Disney+: Traveling with Snow Man 
Japan’s top male idol group, Snow Man, sets out on a journey of self-discovery across unique locations in Japan. As they reflect on the five years since their debut, they share their dreams of what comes next. Full of laughter, tears, and newfound resolve, this is their most personal journey yet.

Hulu: Universal Basic Guys (Season 2) (Fox) 
In Season 2 of “Universal Basic Guys,” Mark, unwilling to admit that he forgot to pay a utility bill, fully commits to taking the family off the grid instead of paying a late fee. When Darren shows interest in playing hockey, Mark goes all-in to assemble the worst team of all time to build up his confidence. Mark and Hank go in on a racehorse together and have to come up with a plan to recoup the worst investment of their lives.

Hulu: Wheel of Fortune (Season 43) (ABC)
Currently in its 42nd season in syndication, Wheel of Fortune continues to be one of the most successful shows in history. Ryan Seacrest hosts the iconic game show as host alongside the incomparable Vanna White. Wheel of Fortune is produced by Sony Pictures Television, a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, and Executive Produced by Bellamie Blackstone.
