The Disney Destiny will be making its maiden voyage and joining the Disney Cruise Line fleet on November 20, 2025. Magic happens when iconic Disney, Pixar, and Marvel heroes and villains are brought to life on board. The Disney Destiny will kick off its inaugural cruise season with 4- and 5-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
Disney Cruise Line offered a sneak peek of The Sanctum onboard. This is the first lounge aboard any of the Disney Cruise Line ships that is inspired by the powerful sorcerers and mystical artifacts of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange.
The lounge draws inspiration from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum. It will feature mystical items that are designed to aid sorcerers in protecting the world. Guests will find unique design details that are inspired by the shapes and symbols of the sorcerers’ Rune Shields. There will also be some other familiar icons like the Cloak of Levitation and spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj.
This entertainment parlor will be centrally located and also host a variety of activities while guests are aboard a voyage on this ship. Guests of all ages will be able to enjoy a magical array. of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and coffees. They will be dazzled by the mystical art of mixology as they experience tableside beverage experiences and exclusive menu items. This will see their drinks seemingly materialize from across the multiverse!
Here are some of the food and beverage options that will be offered at The Sanctum:
- Circle of the Cosmos – Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc, and fresh lemon juice garnished with a lemon peel spiral
- Vapors of Valtorr – Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup topped with berry-flavored bubbles
- Stuffed waffles with custard cream filling
- Stuffed waffles with mixed berry compote filling
