Walt Disney Imagineering has provided a first look at The Beak and Barrel. This pirate-themed tavern is set to open at Magic Kingdom later this year. It had already been shared that The Beak and Barrel was established by Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn and her talkative first mate, Rummy. Now, Walt Disney Imagineers Montse and Chris give a quick tour of the Beak and Barrel. This tour not only shows how the tavern is coming together, but also how stories of the pirates will come to life as guests explore the spaces. The Beak and Barrel will have two main rooms, the Mess and the Captain’s Quarters. The Mess has long tables, a bar, and an enchanted rum bottle. The Captain’s Quarters is where guests can enjoy a taste of the finer life. There are also some incredible details that are being implemented here as well. At this time, a specific opening date for The Beak and Barrel hasn’t been announced. What has been announced is that this pirate-themed tavern should be ready for adventurers to visit later this year.
