There was quite a lot of excitement around Percy Jackson and the Olympians in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con today. A release date was shared for the second season, and a teaser was shared that revealed a first look at fan-favorite cyclops Tyson. On hand were series leads Walker Scobell (Percy Jackson), Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth Chase), Aryan Simhadri (Grover Underwood), Charlie Bushnell (Luke Castellan), Dior Goodjohn (Clarisse La Rue), and Daniel Diemer (Tyson) alongside executive producers Jonathan E. Steinberg, Dan Shotz, and Craig Silverstein. The panel was moderated by actor-comedian Timothy Simons, who also stars as Tantalus in the series.
Via a special video message, executive producer and creator Rick Riordan revealed that the highly anticipated second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will debut on December 10, 2025, exclusively on Disney+. Riordan also announced the casting of two fan-favorite demigods who also happen to be the children of Hades, Nico di Angelo and his sister Bianca. These characters will join the series in the third season. Levi Chrisopulos is set to star as Nico, a series regular, with Olive Abercrombie appearing in a recurring role as Bianca. The third season will begin production soon.
Percy Jackson fans in San Diego can also step into The Percy Jackson Experience. This is an immersive activation that will be open to the public directly outside the San Diego Convention Center. The experience takes fans beyond the mist and on a quest into the mythological world of the series.
