So Much That We Share - A Tribute to the Sherman Brothers

Main Street Cinema Exhibit Transformation Continues at Disneyland with New Signage

The transformation of exhibits at the Main Street Cinema at Disneyland for the 70th anniversary of The Happiest Place on Earth continues. Yesterday, the location closed to begin the installation of a new tribute to the Sherman Brothers. While the marquee was updated with the closure, the signs around the entrance were not. Today, more changes can be found.

Daps Magic friend, Spencer, stopped by Disneyland and discovered the following new signs at the Main Street Cinema.

When it opens, So Much That We Share – A Tribute to the Sherman Brothers will include the short film The Last Verse, which was first shown at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024 during the Jolly Holiday: A Musical Tribute to Richard M. Sherman panel. This film “celebrates the timeless connection and hope behind the Sherman brothers’ iconic song, It’s a Small World.” The film also unveiled the third and final verse for the tune, which also debuted at D23 last summer during the Jolly Holiday panel.

The third and final verse of it’s a small world will also be added to the attraction of the same name at Disneyland and Walt Disney World starting on July 17, 2025.

The lyrics for the third verse are:

“Mother earth unites us in heart and mind

And the love we give makes us humankind

Through our vast wondrous land

When we stand hand in hand

It’s a small world after all.”

It would turn out that this third and final verse was the last contribution that Richard Sherman would make to The Walt Disney Company. He passed in 2024.
