EPCOT Diver Demonstration

Diver Demonstrations Returning to The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion at EPCOT

Another experience is returning to EPCOT, which has been gone for some time. Starting on July 22, 2025, the diver lock-out chamber demonstration will be returning to The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion. This news was shared by Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President, Disney’s Animal, Science and Environment, with the following post:

This experience offers guests a look behind the scenes at how divers can safely enter and exit the pavilion’s massive aquarium, which has 5.7 million gallons of saltwater. Cast Members demonstrate how the lock-out chamber system works, why it works, and also how it helps maintain proper conditions in the tank for both marine life and human divers.

During the presentation, guests will see a diver enter the chamber and then transition into the aquarium. Along the way, the equipment and the safety procedures that are utilized will be demonstrated. Along with being educational, it gives a look at how things work at this pavilion at EPCOT.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion is the home to The Seas with Nemo and Friends, the attraction. It is the home to over 2,000 marine animals, including clown fish, sharks, turtles, dolphins, manatees, stingrays, and more.
