On this day in 2024, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was released in theaters. It was the third installment in the Deadpool franchise, but the first as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was also the first MCU film with X-Men as main characters after Disney acquired 20th Century Fox. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is a part of Marvel’s Phase Five with events that follow ‘Deadpool 2’ and the second season of ‘Loki.’ To date, it is the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time!
