On this day in 1940, television personality Alex Trebek was born. For Disney, Trebek appeared as himself in Ellen’s Energy Adventure at EPCOT as well as on screen in ‘Free Guy’ and in the animated series ‘Pepper Ann.’ He was best known for hosting game shows, especially the long-running ‘Jeopardy!.’ Trebek was named an officer of the Order of Canada, the second-highest civilian honor in his native country.
