On this day in 2010, the nighttime spectacular World of Color debuted to the public at Disney California Adventure. A show that took five years to create, World of Color uses water screens, high definition projectors, and almost 1,200 water jets to bring Disney stories to life in a “living ‘Fantasia.’” The tallest fountains shoot 200 feet in the air, or 50 feet higher than the Pixar Pal-Around! Lighting effects, fire, fog, and lasers add to the show, which spans longer than a football field! [15 years ago in 2025]
