The Hall of Presidents Reopens at Walt Disney World

As has been the case for several years now, The Hall of Presidents has reopened with an updated show reflecting the current occupant of the Oval Office. After closing on January 20, 2025, with the end of the Biden presidency, it reopened to reflect President Trump in the role on June 29, 2025. This is the first time that a President has appeared twice in the attraction in a non-consecutive manner.

The new version of the show is very similar to its predecessor. As what is apparently the new normal, President Trump says the oath of office. This is what President Biden did in the previous iteration of the show. Before that, President Trump delivered the oath of office and then gave a short speech. Since President Clinton, each President of the United States has lent their voice to this attraction.

Walt Disney World Resort reopened The Hall of Presidents without fanfare on Sunday. No comments were made about the reopening of the show or the apparent upgrade to President Trump’s Audio-Animatronic face. Daps Magic does not have a video yet of this version of the show. Keep an eye on the Daps Magic YouTube channel for a video in the future.

The Hall of Presidents Official Description

Behold all the Presidents of the United States in a stirring show tracing the history of the highest elected office in the land.

In the Presence of the Presidents

Take your seat in the stately theater, home to 3 massive digital projection screens and a grand proscenium. Watch an original film—developed by a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian—that tells the dramatic story of the nation’s founding.

Learn about the formation of our Constitution and the hard-fought struggles along the way—such as the American Revolution and the Civil War. Listen to the stirring words of John F. Kennedy echo through the theater and watch Abraham Lincoln—in attendance on stage—deliver his Gettysburg address.

The Presidents Will See You Now
Watch the curtain rise to reveal startlingly realistic Audio-Animatronics replicas of every President of the United States—together for the very first time. Hear a speech delivered by George Washington and a recorded performance of the oath of office by President Donald Trump.

Creating the Presidents

Originally conceived as animated wax figures, the Presidents didn’t meet Walt Disney’s approval, so he tasked Walt Disney Imagineering to develop the first Audio-Animatronics figure in human form.

The result was the groundbreaking Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, which debuted at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. The Hall of Presidents built upon the show’s legacy—expanding it to all Presidents—when it opened in 1971.
