Selena Gomez is no stranger to Waverly Place. After starring in Wizards of Waverly Place, she returned to guest-star in two episodes of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. In this series, she also contributes as an executive producer. It also appears that she will be returning to appear in the second season of the series.
On an Instagram story, Gomez posted “Just feels right” with a photo of her holding a wand.
The synopsis for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place season two reads: “Billie grapples with the fact that being part of the Russo family might be more complicated than she thought — especially now that she’s not the only wizard in the house. Thanks to Roman (Alkaio Thiele) and Milo’s (Max Matenko) new magical powers, Justin is now tasked with training three young wizards for the Family Wizard Competition. As the stakes rise inside and outside the family, a mysterious new threat emerges — one that could unravel the Russos forever.”
Todd Greenwald created Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. It stars David Henrie, who returns from the original series as Justin. He is joined by Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, a young wizard in training. Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas serve as the show’s writers and executive producers. Gomez, Henrie, Gary Marsh, and Jonas Agin also executive produce. The second season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is set to arrive on Disney+ and Disney Channel this fall.
