Ironheart

New Trailer Released for Marvel Television’s Ironheart

A new trailer has been released for Marvel Television’s Ironheart. Dominique Thorne first brought this character to the screen in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Now she returns to bring the character to Disney+ on June 24, 2025.

“What was interesting for me was how different Riri’s story and entrance into the MCU was in comparison to other characters,” Thorne said. “After bringing Riri to life in the world of Wakanda, we had an amazing opportunity to follow that up with a deep dive into the character that allows for the exploration of her origin story. We’re not necessarily going back in time; it’s more of catching up and seeing the effects of how those first pivotal moments of her life have shaped her, and seeing the person that she’s trying to become.”

Ryan Coogler, who directed Black Panther and Wakanda Forever, is executive producing Ironheart. He shared about how he mixes both science and magic.

“Riri is definitely in conversation with a street-level show like Daredevil,” Coogler teased. “You’ve got characters trying — both heroes and villains — to make do with what they have. Then you combine that with cosmic Marvel, characters who would be at home in Doctor Strange or WandaVision. That [mix] of street-level Marvel and magical Marvel is a pretty crazy combination.”
