The Disney Cruise Line has announced that a new Marvel comic book will be coming exclusively to one of its newest ships, the Disney Adventure. When this massive new ship launches later this year, cruisers will be able to get the Special Edition First Issue of AMAZING ADVENTURES. This is an all-original 32-page comic that will be available exclusively on the Disney Adventure.
Ahead of the arrival of Disney Adventure to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, a first look at the artworks in this comic book was shared today. This collectors’ item comes from a collaboration between Disney Cruise Line and Marvel Comics. It was created by award-winning writer Alyssa Wong, legendary artist Leinil Francis Yu, and acclaimed editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski. Artwork was shared by the Disney Cruise Line on social media. The Disney Adventure will join the Disney Cruise Line fleet with its inaugural voyage on December 15, 2025, in Singapore. This will be just about a month after the Disney Destiny, a Wish-class ship themed to “heroes and villains,” joins the fleet.
The new ship has Mickey Mouse on the filigree on its bow. The stern features sculptures of both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. This is a first for a Disney Cruise Line ship.
The Disney Adventure, formerly the Global Dream, was purchased by Disney in 2022. It is a Global-class ship and will sail out of Singapore for at least five years. The ship is being constructed by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany.
The Disney Adventure will offer sailings that are full of magic. This includes a Captain Jack Sparrow show, a Marvel Style Studio, a Disney Princess tea, a Duffy and Friends show and store, Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique, and a whole lot more.
