In January 2024, Lightning Lane was added to Pirates of the Caribbean for what was billed as a limited time for those with a Lightning Lane Multi Pass. That limited time will soon be up. June 30, 2025, will be the final day that Lightning Lane will be available for the attraction in New Orleans Square. Disney has released the following update on its website about Lightning Lane for the attraction:
Pirates of the Caribbean is temporarily available as a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection through June 30, 2025, and will return to offering standby queue only beginning July 1, 2025.
With the removal of Pirates of the Caribbean from the Lightning Lane offerings, Disneyland will still be offering Lightning Lane for the following attractions as of July 1st:
- Autopia
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
- Haunted Mansion
- Indiana JonesTM Adventure
- “it’s a small world”
- Matterhorn Bobsleds
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
- Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin
- Space Mountain
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
With a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can skip the Standby Line and use the Lightning Lane entrance for multiple attractions, get unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads from your day, as well as unlock a special collection of Disney PhotoPass Lenses available in the Disneyland App.
