Which airport is located in Hong Kong? 

Upon arriving in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, you’ll likely find yourself at Hong Kong International Airport. Located less than 10 miles from Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, it’s just a hop and a skip to the park. And for the 20th anniversary, you might even find themed décor at the airport, including a nearly 10-foot-tall Mickey Mouse statue!

How do you get from the airport to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort? 

You’ve arrived at the airport, what’s next? There are a few ways you can travel from the airport to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort: 

  • Mass Transit Railway (MTR): The city’s train system is home to its very own Disneyland Resort Line, which will take you from the airport to the park in about 30 minutes with one transfer and even features 20th anniversary theming. Keep your ears open as you might hear surprises from Mickey and friends, making the journey even more magical! If you’re staying at one of the resort hotels, you can find a complimentary shuttle located next to Disneyland Resort Station. 
  • Bus: From the airport, you can take the ‘A’ or ‘E’ bus routes to Lantau Link Interchange. From here, you will transfer to Route R8, which runs regularly during the day to the resort directly. 
  • Taxi: Just a 15-minute ride from the airport to the park, you can catch a taxi by following the terminal signs to the taxi stand. 

Where to stay at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort? 

When staying at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, there’s three hotel options. From Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel to Disney Explorers Lodge and Disney’s Hollywood Hotel, there’s the perfect accommodation for every kind of fan. 

  • Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel: This Victorian-themed hotel is a can’t miss when visiting Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Here you will find the charm of Disney storytelling that’s about a 10-minute walk from the park’s main entrance. 
  • Disney’s Hollywood Hotel: The resort’s newly renovated hotel is home to the art of Disney movie making and is where Hollywood meets Hong Kong! There’s even a Super Hero-themed bar, serving as the perfect spot to wind down after a park visit. 
  • Disney Explorers Lodge: Adventure awaits! Here you can stay in rooms themed to the unique tropical climates of Asia, Oceania, South America and Africa. The hotel also serves international cuisines at its four dining options.
