On this day in 1910, veteran Ink & Paint artist Evelyn Henry Coats was born. Evie was said to be the oldest employee to have worked with Walt Disney. She was hired in 1932 and was an “inker” on many shorts and cartoons, including ‘The Three Little Pigs,’ ‘The Band Concert,’ and ‘The Old Mill.’ Evie was promoted to department head during the production of ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.’ It was there that she met her husband, Disney Legend Claude Coats!
