On this day in 1995, Disney’s Wedding Pavilion at Walt Disney World hosted its first-ever ceremony. The nuptials were televised live on the Lifetime series “Weddings of a Lifetime.” This preview happened about a month before the venue opened to the public. The Victorian-themed facility is near the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon and has views of Cinderella Castle. The pavilion holds about 250 guests and can host up to five events per day. [30 years ago in 2025]
