Halloween Time will begin this year at the Disneyland Resort on August 22nd and continue through October 31st. There will be plenty of offerings throughout this celebration of all that is Halloween at The Happiest Place on Earth, including the Oogie Boogie Bash. One of the more recent traditions that has become a highlight for fans is getting to see the new Halloween costumes that Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be wearing.
Today, the Disneyland Resort shared a look at what Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be wearing for Halloween Time. As the Disneyland Resort celebrates its 70th anniversary, the duo’s costumes will be inspired by the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. Their costumes will be a twist on their 70th Celebration outfits with swirling colors of purple, green, and orange. The following concept art was shared by the Disneyland Resort ahead of their debut for Halloween Time in August:
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse won’t be the only ones wearing new costumes, though. They will be joined by their friends in Town Square, who will also be wearing new costumes. If previous years are any guide, guests can expect the following characters to also be wearing new Halloween costumes:
- Goofy
- Donald Duck
- Daisy Duck
- Pluto
- Clarabelle Cow
- Chip
- Dale
