When the Disney Destiny takes to sea later this year, one of the many entertainment options will be a piano bar themed to Cruella De Vil. Called De Vil’s, this piano lounge pays homage to Cruella’s fashionista legacy. It is also found right off the Grand Hall. There, cruisers will find a marquee that spells out De Vil’s. The letters for this marquee will look like piano keys. This teases the night of music and chic cocktails guests will be enjoying inside.
Once inside De Vil’s, guests will find a floor mosaic that reads Cruella’s infamous catchphrase, “How Marvelous.” This will be surrounded by 15 paw prints. Here is a look at what this will look like:
Throughout the lounge, details will reflect Cruella’s flair for style along with her wickedly bold attitude. There will be uniquely shaped furnishings that have a luxurious feel with rich textures and couture fabrics. All of these will draw inspiration from Cruella’s signature color palette of black and white with red accents. Look at the carpet and see an intricate design that appears ink-splotched and hand-drawn. This is a tribute to Ken Anderson, the artist who oversaw and stylized the designs of the characters in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ One Hundred and One Dalmatians.
The focal point of the venue will be an eye-catching spotted piano. The Disney Cruise Line shared a downloadable wallpaper with the spotted pattern from the piano to give guests the chance to embrace their villainous side ahead of getting to experience De Vil’s in November.
The maiden voyage for the Disney Destiny sets sail on November 20, 2025. This begins an inaugural season of 4- and 5-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
