6 Photos From a Rainy Day at Tokyo DisneySea

It is the rainy season in Japan. On Tuesday, June 3rd, some of the Daps Magic team visited a very rainy Tokyo DisneySea for a day full of magic, memories, and water. This park, already themed to water, added a whole lot more as the sky unloaded on the guests below. As is often the case, Mr. Daps brought his camera to take photos in the parks. Below are 6 of the photos he took throughout the day that show some different areas of the park.

It had already been raining for quite some time by the time the park opened. This didn’t dampen spirits for those who were there. It just means that umbrella sales seemed to be flying off the shelves…. Even though it seemed like most people arrived with them.

Entering Mediterranean Harbor is always a beautiful thing. With the rain falling on the water, the beauty was amplified even more! If pictures could capture sound, this one would be even prettier! The rain really was peaceful at this point, and not being blown sideways.

Always a favorite icon in the park, the Columbia looks beautiful in the sun or in the rain. There are so many fun angles to take pictures of it from. This was just one of them. Many more were taken but this is the one that made the cut at a quick glance for this article.

This view comes from aboard the Columbia. While it was nice and cozy aboard the ship (unless you went out on the bow… which we did), things were not quite as warm and dry below.

Heading under the sea to visit Ariel wasn’t a bad idea on this rainy day. It turns out it was one of the driest large areas in the park! Outside was another story. It was a sea of umbrellas.

It apparently doesn’t rain much in Agrabah. When walking through, it was a ghost town. It made it beautiful, though! Later in the evening, there were even more beautiful shots to be taken here. That is for another post, though!
