On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, World of Color Happiness! premiered at Disney California Adventure before media, invited guests, and guests visiting the park. Ahead of the event, the new Disneyland Resort president, Thomas Mazloum, introduced the evening’s shows. The new version of World of Color is the seventh iteration of the show.
Ahead of World of Color Happiness!, there is a special safety spiel that turns into a song and dance number, reminding people not to jump into the bay. This is a humorous moment that captures the classic vibe of The Muppets.
The full World of Color Happiness! is hosted by the emotions of the Inside Out franchise. Together, they seek out and discover what it takes to be happy. With a touch of Disney magic, World of Color Happiness! paints the different emotional colors that embody happiness. See it happen, as Paradise Bay is transformed into an enchanting place with a brilliant array of signature fountains, dynamic lighting, colorful lasers, fog and dramatic flame effects—creating awe and wonder.

Just before World of Color Happiness! begins, watch as Kermit the Frog, Gonzo and other Muppets step into the spotlight to share safety announcements in a zany song-and-dance number projected across the expressive World of Color fountains.
