On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Disneyland Resort debuted its newest iteration of World of Color. World of Color Happiness! is inspired by Walt Disney’s opening day at Disneyland statement, “To all who come to this happy place… welcome!” The emotions from the Inside Out franchise explore “happy” during this animated and musical show.
Ahead of the show, there is a new way to do a safety spiel. It raises the bar for all future safety spiels as The Muppets take center stage to help out. Joe the Legal Weasel (who debuted at the 2019 D23 Expo as leadup to Muppets now!), Kermit the Frog, and many other Muppet friends, spend several minutes in song and dance trying to nail the message of safety. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t seem to satisfy Joe from Legal. This new pre-show, called But First… A Muppets Pre-Show, gives several favorite Muppet characters moments to shine. It also has a song that is quirky and feels like a classic tune from The Muppets. In short, it is a delightful (and did I mention happy?) way to start the seventh iteration of World of Color.

But First… A Muppets Pre-Show
This new Muppet offering is a very welcome one for fans of The Muppets. It is happy. It is funny. It has a fun(ny) song. Hopefully, it is the first of more offerings of this type. It captures the spirit of The Muppets and provides hope for where they could be going and what they could be doing in the future!
