On this day in 2009, Pixar’s short film ‘Partly Cloudy’ debuted in theaters, playing in front of ‘Up.’ While most of the cloud people have the job of making cute and cuddly babies to be delivered to Earth by storks, Gus the lonely gray cloud tackles the more challenging newborns like crocodiles and sharks. Peck the delivery stork puts up with abuse from these infants, but eventually leaves. Gus reacts badly at first, but then realizes that Peck hasn’t given up after all!
