On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the Animation Building reopened at Disney California Adventure. It had been closed for some time for refurbishment. With the reopening, the inside lobby looks more beautiful than ever. It also has some new segments playing in the loop of music that accompanies imagery from a variety of Disney and Pixar films on the screens in the room.
The Daps Magic team stopped by the Animation Building on Thursday to check out the new segments. Below is a list of the new segments that can now be seen in the Animation Building’s loop:
- Moana
- Zootopia
- Coco
- Soul
- The Princess and the Frog
- Encanto
It is believed that these replaced In Summer, An Actor’s Life For Me and the two scenes from The Lady and the Tramp.
Here is a couple of the new segments that can be seen in the Animation Building now. There will be more videos on Daps Magic’s YouTube channel in the coming days.
