Get ready for adventure as Elio makes his screen debut at El Capitan Theatre beginning with a Fan Event on Friday, June 20 at 7pm.
For centuries, people have called out to the universe looking for answers—in Disney and Pixar’s all-new feature film “Elio,” the universe calls back! The cosmic misadventure introduces Elio, a space fanatic with an active imagination and a huge alien obsession. So, when he’s beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide, Elio’s all in for the epic undertaking. Mistakenly identified as Earth’s leader, Elio must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions, and somehow discover who and where he is truly meant to be.
During the Fan Event, you’ll be able to blast off with an all-new light and projection experience that takes you out-of-this-world!
Tickets for the Elio Fan Event are $53, and includes all fees. The cost includes a Reserved Ticket, Elio Reusable Water Bottle, Popcorn, Fountain Drink, and an Event Credential.
Those unable to attend the Elio Fan Event can still enjoy screenings of the film beginning Thursday, June 19. There will be three showings that day with a 3D screening at 4pm, and two standard screenings at 7:00pm and 9:55pm.
From June 20 through July 20, showtimes will be at 10:00am, 1:00pm (3D), 4:00pm, 7:00pm, and 9:55pm. Tickets for adults are $25, and kids (3-11) and Senior (60+) are $22. Ticket total includes all fees.
There will also be special sensory inclusive screenings on Saturday, July 12 at 1:00pm in 3D, and Thursday, July 17 at 7:00pm. Open caption screenings will take place on Sunday, July 13 at 4:00pm, and Wednesday June 16 at 7:00pm. Spanish dubbed screenings will happen Tuesday, July 15 at 7:00pm, and Saturday, July 19 at 4:00pm.
There is a special offer available while supplies last. An Intergalactic Pack for $128, including all fees comes with 4 Reserved Tickets, 4 Popcorns, and 4 24oz Fountain Drinks. This off is not available for the Fan Event.
