Donald's Tales of Adventure Edible Sculpture

Check Out This Incredible Edible Donald’s Tales of Adventure Display at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is home to some really incredible edible displays. Recently, the Death Star from Star Wars: A New Hope could be seen in orbit in the Grand Hall of this beautiful hotel. For the summer, in conjunction with the arrival of Donald’s Tales of Adventure at Storyteller’s Cafe, the culinary team has created a beautiful new display that celebrates Donald’s adventure. This multi-layered display has Donald Duck and friends going on some adventures in the great outdoors. They are exploring, fishing in the lake below (complete with fish), and also have books (reading is one of the greatest adventures as well!). This is a very detailed display with plenty of characters!

Here are some fun details about the ingredients used on this Donald’s Tales of Adventure display:

  • 80 pounds of crisped rice cereal
  • 80 pounds of powdered sugar
  • 60 pounds of fondant
  • 40 pounds of white chocolate
  • 25 pounds of marshmallows
  • 15 pounds of egg whites

The Daps Magic team stopped by to take some photos and videos of this display. Check them out here:
