On May 16, 2025, the Disneyland Resort will kick off its 70th anniversary celebration. This celebration will include entertainment, merchandise, magical moments, special outfits for Disney characters, and more! Throughout the Disneyland Resort, decorations will appear to add even more magic to this milestone. Today, Disney shared a look at what some of this decor will look like.

The new concept art for the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration decor comes after some was already shared earlier, mainly for Sleeping Beauty Castle. The new concept art shows that decorations will be found before guests enter the parks. In Downtown Disney District, decorations featuring Ariel from the Disney animated film The Little Mermaid will be found.

Moving into the Esplanade, a whimsical recreation of Sleeping Beauty Castle will be found. This will be perfect for guests to take a picture with before heading into Disneyland or Disney California Adventure for a day full of magic. This contemporary recreation of Sleeping Beauty Castle will be 50 feet tall and will have colorful glass panels and golden charms that represent the five original lands.

Upon entering Disneyland, the floral Mickey will be full of color and include a new display that welcomes guests to the celebration. This will be a can’t-miss photo opportunity for guests during the 70th celebration.

Up and down Main Street, USA, there will be more decorations and bunting that add to the atmosphere. Town Square will feature a special installation that features Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse with the castle behind them.

Guests can then make their way down Main Street, USA, and see Sleeping Beauty Castle with its new medallion as they make their way into the park to enjoy their day.
The decorations that were shared today aren’t the only decorations that will be found throughout the Disneyland Resort during the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. There will be more found throughout Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney District, and the Disneyland Resort hotels as well.
